Essential in African and Mexican dishes, crushed red pepper gives a hot bite to any dish you add it to. It’s an excellent seasoning for meats and vegetables. But be sure to be careful. It doesn't take much crushed red pepper to add an intense amount of heat to your dish. And your mouth. We recommend adding a dash at a time until you achieve the perfect amount of heat.
